Dr. Marie-Lyne Bélair

Dr. Marie-Lyne Bélair completed her medical studies and her residency in ophthalmology at the Université de Montréal. She then completed a sub-specialty in uveitis and inflammatory eye diseases at the prestigious Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA. Since 2006, Dr. Bélair has practiced clinical and surgical ophthalmology at the University Ophthalmology Center of the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont.

Dr. Bélair participates in several research projects involving uveitis and ocular inflammatory diseases. She has authored numerous articles in scientific journals and has given many presentations at local and international conferences. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Université de Montréal and actively participates in teaching medical students, residents, and ophthalmology fellows. She is also passionate about general ophthalmology and cataract surgery.

Dr. Bélair is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and the Canadian Ophthalmological Society (COS).
