Dr. Louis Vaillancourt completed his medical studies at the Mauricie campus of the Université de Montréal and his residency in ophthalmology at the Université de Montréal. He currently practices at the Sainte-Croix Hospital in Drummondville as well as at the Bellevue Ophthalmology Clinic, which he joined in 2021.
Dr. Vaillancourt practices general ophthalmology, performing several types of surgery, including cataract surgery.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), a member of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society (COS), and is certified by the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ).
