Dr. Flavio Rezende

Dr. Flavio Rezende was born in Rio de Janeiro. He did his Ph.D. at the University of San Paolo and his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Rio De Janeiro. Subsequently, he completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at McGill University and his post-doctorate at the University of Montreal.

After 6 years of practice in Brazil, in 2009, he decided to settle in Montreal. He is also the lead surgeon for the Argus retinal implant in Quebec.
