Dr. Barbara Teboul

Dr. Teboul earned her medical degree from McGill University, where she was a recipient of the prestigious Morris Wilson Scholarship. She then pursued a specialty in ophthalmology at the Université de Montréal, where she won first prize at the Ophthalmology Research Day.

She is the Head of Service at the Hôpital du Suroît in Valleyfield and an associate member at St. Mary’s Hospital in Montreal. She joined the Bellevue Vaudreuil team in 2021.

Dr. Teboul has a particular interest in cataract surgery, performing over 1,400 procedures per year. She performs her surgeries within the public system (covered by RAMQ) and offers the full range of intraocular lenses.

Dr. Teboul plays an active role in education as a lecturer at McGill University and a clinical instructor at the Université de Montréal. She teaches cataract surgery to ophthalmology residents at McGill University and had the honor of receiving the Frank Buller Award for Best Surgical Instructor in Ophthalmology at McGill.
