Dr. Barbara Teboul
Dr.Teboul completed her medical studies at McGill University where she was the recipient of the prestigious Morris Wilson Scholarship. She then went on to complete an ophthalmology residency at the University of Montreal, where she won the first place prize at its Research Day in Ophthalmology.
Dr Teboul is chief of the ophthalmology service at the CSSS du Suroit in Valleyfield and an associate member at St. Mary's Hospital in Montreal. She joined the Bellevue Vaudreuil team in 2021.
Dr Teboul has a particular interest in cataract surgery and performs over 1400 procedures per year. She performs her surgeries in the public system (covered by RAMQ) and offers the full range of intraocular lens implants.
Dr Teboul plays an active role in teaching. She is a Faculty lecturer at McGill University and Clinical Instructor at the University of Montreal. She teaches cataract surgery to Ophthalmology residents and had the honour of being awarded the Frank Bueller Award for Most Outstanding Surgical Instructor in Ophthalmology at McGill.
