Narrows Angles

Definition

This pathology of the eyeball implies that the angles formed by the junction of the iris and the cornea are too narrow. If untreated, the angles may close and cause acute glaucoma.

The iridocorneal angle is an evolutive structure of the eye that changes with the growth of the lens. This expansion is normal and caused by aging. However, it is important to do an eye exam to make sure the angles are opened.

You should know that Bellevue clinics have all the latest technologies available to diagnose and monitor narrow angles cases.
