Narrows Angles

Narrow iridocorneal angle is an eye condition where the angle between the iris and the cornea is abnormally narrow. This angle is crucial because it allows the aqueous humor, a clear fluid that fills the front of the eye, to drain.

When this angle is too narrow, the aqueous humor may have difficulty draining properly, leading to an increase in intraocular pressure (IOP). This increase in pressure can damage the optic nerve and lead to glaucoma, a disease that can cause irreversible vision loss if left untreated.
