Upper Blepharosplasty
It corrects sagging and heaviness of the upper eyelids by removing excess skin. The procedure is done through an incision hidden in the natural crease of the eyelid, making the postoperative scar virtually invisible.
Lower Blepharoplasty
It aims to correct wrinkled lower eyelids and under-eye bags caused by skin laxity and fat accumulation. It can be performed in two ways: either through an incision under the eyelashes to remove excess skin, or through an incision inside the eyelid, leaving no visible scar.
What Does the Procedure Involve?
Cosmetic blepharoplasty is a quick and minimally invasive surgical procedure, usually performed under local anesthesia combined with light sedation. You can return home the same day and quickly resume your usual activities.
What to Expect After the Surgery?
The results of blepharoplasty are visible quickly, but the improvement is gradual and optimal about 8 weeks after the procedure.
